Hillary Clinton: Climate change is “sexist” … huh? Left-wing climate narrative collapses into irrational nonsense

On a hot summer day, most people probably don’t go outside, look up towards the sun and say, “this heat is sexist.” That would be utterly moronic – obviously, the weather can’t be discriminatory towards women because weather is an objective force that affects everyone equally. But is there anyone out there that would actually make the case that the weather is sexist, and if so, who is this nitwit?

Failed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton recently spoke to a group of college students at Georgetown University as part of a panel on “Women & Human Rights.” At one point during the event, a student raised her hand and suggested that weather was somehow sexist. Of course, Hillary Clinton was quick to agree.

“I would say that particularly for women, you’re absolutely right, they will bear the brunt of looking for the food, looking for the firewood, looking for the place to migrate to when all of the grass is finally gone as the desertification moves south and you have to keep moving your livestock for your crops are no longer growing, they’re burning up in the intense heat that we’re now seeing reported across North Africa, into the Middle East, and into India,” Clinton said.

First and foremost, why is Hillary Clinton assuming that it would be the women out collecting firewood and looking for food? Honestly, could you image Hillary Clinton picking up a rifle and going out into the woods to hunt a rabbit or a deer? It would never happen. Second, does it not seem like Hillary was reading off of the script of a science fiction movie when she was talking about the “desertification” moving south and crops not being able to grow because of the intense heat? When it comes to the issue of climate change, liberal Democrats really do have good imaginations. (Related: Feminists are now calling for science to be turned into a social justice propaganda machine.)

Furthermore, even if all of Hillary Clinton’s wild predictions do end up coming true, the notion that rising temperatures is sexist is simply nonsensical. In order for that to be the case, the weather would literally have to have a mind of its own, which of course it doesn’t. All people, regardless of their innate characteristics, experience days with bad weather.

Our country is quickly approaching a point where it’s more difficult to find things that are not sexist (according to liberals and feminists) than it is to find things that are sexist. Recently, feminists have been outraged over what the Internet is now calling “Lady Doritos” – Doritos that are designed to be smaller, less messy and less crunchy in an attempt to appeal to women. But even though this was just a marketing campaign that was supposed to attract more females to the Doritos brand, feminists were quick to express outrage, calling the newly announced product “sexist” and “misogynist” among other things.

Julia Reiss of Complex.com called the move proof that the “patriarchy is all too real these days,” and an article published on ExtraCrispy.com even went as far as connecting the Doritos marketing campaign to America’s “oppressive” capitalist system that “perpetuates a cultural superstructure where women are made to feel that they can’t lick Dorito dust off their fingers without falling short of some patriarchal concept of femininity.”

This growing culture of victimization has got to stop. Americans are some of the freest, most prosperous people on the face of the earth, and the idea that there is some kind of a system or an invisible force keeping millions of us tied down and oppressed is a mentality that needs to be left in the past.
